CSIR UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024
The CSIR UGC NET Exam Pattern for 2024 is a computer-based test that will consist of a single paper with multiple-choice questions. The exam will be conducted for five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
The duration of the exam will be 3 hours, and it will consist of two parts. The first part will include 20 compulsory questions, each carrying 2 marks, and the second part will include 50 questions out of which the candidate will have to attempt 35 questions. It is important to note that negative marking will be applicable for wrong answers, and the minimum cut-off marks for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship will be determined based on the number of available fellowships and the performance of the candidates.
