About CTET
The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) issued Notifications on August 23, 2010 and July 29, 2011 laying down the minimum standards for a person to be considered for appointment as a teacher at class I to VIII in accordance with the provisions of Sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act.
