Eligibility to Apply For UPSC NDA
Candidates must verify their eligibility to apply for the NDA. A candidate’s application for NDA will be rejected if he or she does not meet UPSC’s eligibility requirements. Continue reading to learn about the qualifications necessary to apply for NDA 2023 and the age limit, The candidate must be an Indian citizen and an unmarried female and male. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam can also apply for NDA. Subjects of Bhutan, Nepal, or Tibetan refugees who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962, are also eligible.
The 12th grade passing grade is required to apply to the National Defense Academy. by a university or a State Education Board. This exam is open to applicants who are enrolled in the 12th Class following the 10+2 pattern. However, applicants who have not yet completed the qualifying exam are eligible to apply, but they must submit a pass certificate by the deadline. Candidates must have passed 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics as subjects to be eligible for NDA 2023 in order to apply for Air Force or Naval wings and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy. To pass the NDA competitive exam, a candidate must be physically fit.
Application Fee
- Applicant from UR and OBC categories are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/–
- Students belonging to Time Table Castes Tribes are not require to pay any fee.
- The sons of serving, ex-Junior Commission Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, Other Grade of Army and equivalent ranks in the Indian Navy, Indian Air Force are also not required to pay the prescribed fee.

Selection Process
After publishing the hall ticket for NDA 2023 the selection process will get a start. Here have a look at the different stages of NDA selection process.
Written Exam
- The written exam for NDA will comprise two subjects Mathematics & General Ability Test.
- In the test paper, objective type questions will be ask. The language of the question paper will be Hindi & English.
- Total number of the written paper are 900 and the duration of exam will be 2 ½ hours.
- To clear the written exam of NDA the applicants need to secure 25% numbers in each subject.
