Hero Xoom:- Hero Motocorp, the largest 2-wheeler manufacturer in the world, has introduced the XOOM gasoline scooter to the Indian market. The brand-new Hero Xoom 110 is an automatic scooter with a 110cc engine. Projector LED headlamps, the Hero H-Position Lamp, handle-mounted winkers, corner bending lights powered by the Hero Intelligent Cornering light, and other features are among the new Hero XOOM scooter’s product highlights. The new XOOM 110 scooters also have larger and wider tires, an Integrated Braking System (IBS), a lot of storage space under the seat, a front glove box with a USB mobile charging option, and a digital instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity.
The Hero Xoom’s top-of-the-line ZX model is the only one with cornering lights, a first for 110cc scooters. In essence, these lights illuminate the road in the scooter’s leaning direction. The bike has a gyroscopic/accelerometer sensor that conveys messages to the cornering lights once the bike is inclined toward a corner. The scooter can only use the cornering lights when it is moving. Hero’s XTEC Bluetooth connectivity system, which enables notification alerts on the digital dashboard, a front disc brake, and diamond-cut alloy wheels are also exclusive to the ZX model.
Hero Xoom Price In India 2023
The Xoom is also very well equipped, and the ZX model, which tops the range and is the one we tested, has all the bells and whistles. In addition to the LED taillight and headlamp, Hero has added cornering lights to the Xoom, a first for the segment. Using a gyroscope and an accelerometer, this feature illuminates a small LED lamp in the fairing in the direction of your turn based on your lean angle. We will have to wait to see how effective the feature actually is in the real world, even though it worked well in a demo we received.
The Xoom also has a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, alloy wheels, and a USB charging port, albeit in an awkward location. The overall ergonomics of the Hero Xoom are comfortable for the majority of riders. You are sitting upright, the floorboard is flat, you cannot reach the handlebars, and you have plenty of room for your feet to move. The seat has supportive padding as well. However, when making lock-to-lock turns, the handlebar will rub against your knee if you are taller than 5 feet 10 inches. This is just a little issue, nonetheless, and it tends to be tackled by moving your knee far removed while turning.

Hero Xoom Feature
Projector headlamps, segment-first cornering lights, a fully digital display with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charging port, and illuminated under-seat storage are just a few of the many features included in the Hero Xoom. At the front, the new Legend Xoom sports a double tone plan for the front cover. The signals can be found on the handlebars while the sharp headlamp sits on the lower segment of the front cover. A stylized H-shaped position lamp and an LED projector headlamp in the front lighting unit give the Xoom a rather cool signature lighting style. This is rehashed at the back as the Drove taillight that shows off a similar stylised H-formed lighting mark.

Engine, Transmission & Performance
It is powered by an air-cooled 110.9cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8.05bhp and 8.70Nm. The Maestro’s motor is the same as Hero’s. It has LED lighting, cornering lights, a Bluetooth-connected LCD, and a USB charging port thanks to Hero. Cell phone similarity gives you admittance to call cautions, SMS, and then some. A 110cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.15 horsepower and 8.70 nm of torque powers the Xoom. While Legend involves this motor in its other 110cc contributions, it has been tuned explicitly for the Xoom. This scooter has a decent road feel and is fairly linear, but it cannot be described as fast. However, you do experience some mild business at lower speeds, so engine refinement is mixed.
The Hero Xoom is powered by a fuel-injected, air-cooled, one-cylinder engine with 110.9 cubic centimeters. At 7,250 rpm, the Xoom’s engine produces 8.05 bhp and 8.7 nm of torque. The CVT gearbox and engine of the Xoom are paired together. The Legend Xoom sports an adaptive fork at the front and a mono-shock at the back. MRF tires sized 90/90-12 (front) and 100/80 (rear) are used on the Xoom’s 12-inch wheels. A 130mm drum in the back and a 190mm disc in the front (ZX only) perform braking duties. The Hero Xoom has one rear shock and telescopic front forks.

Mileage & Range
The official mileage figures for the brand-new Xoom scooter have not been made public by Hero. However, Hero’s i3s start/stop technology is included in the Xoom, which aids in efficiency. We anticipate that the 110cc scooter will return a mileage of between 40 and 45 km/l, allowing riders to travel more than 200 km with a full tank (5.2 liters) of gas. The Hero Xoom is powered by a 110-cc single-cylinder engine with 8.05 PS and 8.70 Nm of maximum torque. The XTEC and i3S technologies of the company are also included. In the meantime, the braking hardware consists of a 130mm drum at the rear and a 190mm disc at the front. For the VX and ZX, the setup is connected to 12-inch alloys wrapped in 90/90 front and 90/80 rear tires.
We haven’t tested the Xoom’s fuel efficiency yet, but Hero claims it is one of the most fuel-efficient scooters in its class because it has the company’s i3S auto start/stop system. When you stop, this technology saves fuel by turning off the engine and starting it when you press the brake lever and twist the throttle. While it is a pleasant incorporation, this framework isn’t as consistent to work as certain opponents. Cutting off requires pressing the brake and taking a good few seconds. then use the throttle to set off seems a bit counterintuitive.
Ride, Handling And Braking
The front end of the top models has a 190 mm disc, and the rear end has a drum for braking. The suspension arrangement incorporates adjustable front forks and a monoshock at the back. Additionally, 12-inch wheels with a wide 100-section rear tire are available. The instrument bunch of the Xoom conveys a lot of data. It has a fuel gauge, speedometer, odometer, trip meter, clock, and real-time mileage. Additionally, the owner can receive SMS and call notifications on the instrument cluster via Bluetooth connectivity.
This bike accompanies 12-inch wheels at the two closures, which gives it great steadiness around corners. Even though we didn’t do any serious corner carving, the Xoom felt secure enough around the slight bends we tackled and felt predictable. Suspension obligations are taken care of by adjustable front forks and it gets a solitary safeguard at the back. The ride quality is good and it’s sprung neither too hard nor excessively delicate. However, the Xoom’s suspension is slightly stiffer than that of its 110cc siblings.

Hero Xoom Specification
The Hero Xoom is an appealing scooter overall. There’s a lot of cuts and wrinkles all over, which cause it to show up very contemporary. A large LED projector headlamp with Hero’s trademark H-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamp is located in the front. The halogen indicators are incorporated into the handlebar cowl higher up, and there is also a small flyscreen. The Hero Xoom features an angular design element that resembles a fake air vent along the sides, where other scooters in this class typically have a straightforward body panel that is rounded off. It looks nice that the rear grab handle is flush with the bodywork as well. In keeping with the theme of the headlight, it also has an LED taillight in the shape of an H.
