Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The Model Y does not come with the complex falcon wing doors of the larger Model X crossover; Its interior is mostly taken from the Model 3 sedan. Like that car, it’s largely free of buttons and relies on a large infotainment display centered on a simple dashboard. The all-glass roof gives the cabin an airy ambiance, but is heavily tinted to avoid those living in Sun Belt states. The optional third row of seats adds $3000 to the Model Y’s price—we can’t imagine they’ll be roomy enough for adults to ride comfortably.
