Upcoming Mahindra XUV300 Feature
The front fascia of the new XUV300 will be redesigned taking inspiration from some of the most recent electric SUVs from the brand. It has C-shaped LED daytime running lights which look like the BE.05. The SUV appears to have all-new C-shaped taillamps with a central LED light bar. The new XUV300 is expected to have a larger touchscreen infotainment system. You can clearly see the floating head unit in the spy pictures. The new XUV300 will use the same 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engines. On all engines, Mahindra offers a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
Rear End Redesign
It can be seen that the rear part of the facelifted XUV300 has been completely covered. This picture shows that the rear bumper of the car will probably be completely changed. Additionally, it will get a set of all-new LED taillights. The full-length connected taillight of the upcoming SUV is one of the most prominent features in the rear spy shot. This design is already present on both the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift and the Hyundai Venue facelift. Additionally, it is reported that additional design changes inspired by the Mahindra BE.05 EV SUV have been implemented under the surface.

Front End Redesign
This was followed by discussion of the front-end design of this test mule. White covers have been used to hide the front and rear of the test mule of this SUV. However, regardless of the cover, it is clear that a pair of brand new LED headlights will be the primary focal point at the front. These headlights will be surrounded by long LED DRL strips. The BE.05 electric SUV also served as a direct source of inspiration for these LED DRLs. It is likely that the front bumper, bonnet and fenders were all designed like the BE.05 SUV.
Side Profile Update
After the front end of the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift, its interior and side profile were discussed. There will not be much change in the side profile of this new model as it will be largely based on the chassis of the previous model. The new alloy wheel design is the only noticeable change in the spy shots. BlueSense Plus connected car technology, which includes smartwatch connectivity, voice command and SMS readout, tyre-position, front/rear parking sensors and an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, is present on the Mahindra.

Interior Update
After the exterior, the most significant changes will happen in the interior. It is clear from the pictures that the entire dashboard has been changed. Brand new air conditioning vents with chrome surrounds and a larger touchscreen infotainment display are two additional interior highlights that stand out. According to other reports, the publication could also introduce the new XUV300 with a panoramic sunroof. If the company introduces it, it will be the first car in the subcompact SUV segment to have this feature. This screen may also be shared with the upcoming five-door Thar. A new switchgear, redesigned center console and possibly a fully digital instrument cluster could also be included.
Exterior Updated
The test has been largely concealed, but the drop-down LED daytime running lamps have been completely redesigned, which can still be seen through the camouflage. It also signals a new two-part grille with a larger central air intake and a redesigned bumper and headlamp assembly. The rear of the XUV300 is expected to be similar to the XUV700 and the upcoming BE range. Additionally, the tailgate has been completely redesigned, possibly with a full-width LED light bar, as seen on BE concepts. The tailgate surface is now smoother, the taillamps look more streamlined and C-shaped, and the registration plate is now on the bumper instead of the tailgate. There will also be brand new alloy wheels, but we don’t expect any significant changes in the profile.

Powertrains
There is no data regarding the powertrain refresh of the upcoming XUV300 facelift. However, it is highly unlikely that the company will make changes to the outgoing powertrain options. The company currently offers the XUV300 with three engine options. The first is a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 200 Nm of torque and 108.62 bhp. The next diesel engine is a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that makes 300 Nm of torque and 115.05 bhp. There is a TurboSport model with a 1.2-litre turbopetrol engine that is more focused on performance and has 129 bhp and 230 Nm of torque.
The XUV300’s existing 110hp and 131hp, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engines, as well as the 117hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine, are expected to remain in the facelift. It remains to be seen whether Mahindra keeps the gearbox options the same or opts for a more advanced gearbox for the AMT. DCTs, torque converters and CVTs are already offered by rivals in this market.
