Sargun Mehta Biography – Sargun Mehta Dubey is an Indian artist, model and tv host. She has got 3 PTC Punjabi Film Awards and 2 Filmfare Awards Punjabi for her appearance in Punjabi Cinema. Mehta started performing in theatre productions in her college, and subsequently journey into tv roles, having created her screen place in 2009 with Zee TV’s 12/24 Karol Bagh. Colors TV’s drama series Phulwa marked a significant turning point in her career, earning her critical acclaim. Mehta got praise for her assisting work in the 2009 series 12/24 Karol Bagh and in the 2013 series Balika Vadhu.

Mehta was born on 6 September 1988 in Chandigarh, India, She has a younger brother. She finished her graduation in Bachelor of commerce from the Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. Sargun then started studying for a Master’s degree in Business Management, however left to chase her acting career. Mehta’s popularity spread when she portrayed in the 2011 tv series Phulwa and the 2012 Kya Huaa Tera Vaada. She accepted herself as a leading performer, when she worked the Colors TV drama series Balika Vadhu in 2013.

Career
Mehta created her present movie place with the 2015 Punjabi romantic comedy Angrej; the production, which worked as the 2nd highest earning Punjabi film of the year had her play the character of Dhann Kaur, a member of an aristocratic family in the pre-partitioned Punjab. She won the PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Actress for her acting in the movie. Mehta has since worked in other successful Punjabi movies involving the dramas Love Punjab (2016) & Lahoriye (2017). Her role of a troubled housewife in the former grossed her a Filmfare Award Punjabi for Best Actress.
