About Amrita Center For Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine
The M.Tech. program in Nanoscience and Technology has a greater emphasis on biomedical nanotechnologies, while the M.Tech. program in Nanotechnology focuses more on electronic and electrochemical technologies and solar cells. The M.Tech. program in Molecular Medicine is specifically designed for those interested in utilizing molecular tools and technologies for diagnostics and therapy at the molecular level.
Over the past five years, these three courses have been highly successful with a 100% placement rate and valuable hands-on research experience in cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, the ACNSMM is involved in several funded projects from organizations such as DBT, DST, MNRE, ICMR, as well as international collaborations. Candidates applying for the M.Tech. program in Nanoscience and Technology must hold an M.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Zoology or a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics, Biomedical, Biotechnology or any related field. Additionally, candidates with an MBBS or BDS degree or a B.Pharm. degree are also eligible to apply if they have obtained a minimum of 60% marks (or its equivalent).
To be eligible for the M.Tech. in Nanotechnology program, applicants must have a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent) in either an M.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science, or a B.Tech. degree in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, or Materials Science. Candidates applying for the M.Tech. in Molecular Medicine program must have a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent) in their M.Sc. degree in any Life Sciences discipline, or B.Tech. degree in Biotechnology, or MBBS, or BDS, or B.Pharma.
