नई दिल्ली। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने रविवार को 2020 की आखिरी मन की बात में कई प्रेरणादायक कहानियां सुनाई। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि कुछ लोग ऐसे भी होते हैं जो लगातार कुछ-न-कुछ नया करते रहते हैं, नए-नए संकल्पों को सिद्ध करते रहते हैं। जब हम समाज के लिए कुछ करते हैं तो बहुत कुछ करने की ऊर्जा समाज हमें खुद ही देता है।

पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि आज के ही दिन गुरु गोविंद जी के पुत्रों, साहिबजादे जोरावर सिंह और फतेह सिंह को दीवार में जिंदा चुनवा दिया गया था। अत्याचारी चाहते थे कि साहिबजादे अपनी आस्था छोड़ दें, महान गुरु परंपरा की सीख छोड़ दें।

लेकिन, हमारे साहिबजादों ने इतनी कम उम्र में भी गजब का साहस दिखाया, इच्छाशक्ति दिखाई। दीवार में चुने जाते समय, पत्थर लगते रहे, दीवार ऊँची होती रही, मौत सामने मंडरा रही थी, लेकिन, फिर भी वो टस-से-मस नहीं हुए।

आज ही के दिन गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी की माता जी – माता गुजरी ने भी शहादत दी थी। लोग, श्री गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी के परिवार के लोगों के द्वारा दी गयी शहादत को बड़ी भावपूर्ण अवस्था में याद करते हैं। इस शहादत ने संपूर्ण मानवता को, देश को, नई सीख दी।
प्रधानमंत्री ने मन की बात में कर्नाटक के युवा ब्रिगेड की प्रेरणादायक कहानी सुनाई। इन्होंने श्रीरंगपट्न के पास स्थित वीरभद्र स्वामी नाम के एक प्राचीन शिवमंदिर का कायाकल्प कर दिया। मंदिर के आसपास इतनी घास फूस थी कि कोई बता नहीं सकता था कि यहां कोई मंदिर है।
