IIM Shortlist 2023

Candidates for PGP/MBA admission in IIM Shortlist 2023 have been started shortlisting on the 20 campuses of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). IIM Shortlist 2023 dates

On December 21, 2022, the IIM CAT results were released. IIM Shortlist 2023 Key Highlights

Because the CAT 2023 results are due to be published on December 21, all of the IIMs are presently preparing to disclose shortlists for each PI and WAT final round separately. After the personal interview and subsequent rounds, which will be conducted online, the final merit list is produced by the respective IIMs based on these scores, work experience, CAT percentile, and other diversity criteria.

• The GD and WAT rounds have been dropped by the majority of IIMs, and they will only conduct an online PI round this year.

IIM Interview dates 2023

On each of the 20 IIMs’ admission pages, you’ll find information about the Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test. Based on the CAT scorecard and shortlist, the IIM interview dates in 2023 will be decided. The MBA/PGP admissions list will be released in 2023–25 based on the PI, CAT score, and 10th grade grades.

IIM Shortlisting Criteria and Selection Process 2023

There are three steps in the IIM shortlisting process:

Stage 1: Shortlisting of candidates on the basis of their CAT 2022 score

Once the CAT results are announced, each IIM will notify candidates of their intention to apply for the PI round on their official website. Candidates who meet the shortlist cutoff must log in using their CAT IDs to submit their name and CAT score.

Stage 2: Screening of candidates for Personal Interview

Candidates who applied for PI will receive interview invitations after being shortlisted in the second round based on their CAT scores and academic records.

Stage 3: Calculation of CAT Composite Score and Final Selection in IIM

The third stage uses a number of factors to compute a candidate’s composite score in order to reach a final judgment regarding them. Candidates are judged on a variety of criteria and their composite score is computed during the final selection procedure for IIM admission. IIM CAP Shortlist 2023

The Common Application Process, or CAP 2023, will begin in February 2023, with the PI likely concluding in March 2023. CAP is being held this year in IIM Udaipur. The new IIM CAP 2023 will not accept IIM Rohtak, which previously competed in the CAP round, and instead will conduct its own internet admissions process autonomously. This has yet to be proven.

IIM Admission 2023-25: Waitlist Movement

• The IIM admission waitlist is the number of seats that are offered to applicants who are on the waiting list for admission. When they shortlist candidates or release the final admission list, IIMs reserve one batch or slot for students on the waiting list.
• The student from the waiting list may obtain admission if any candidate releases his or her seat.
• Students have been waiting for IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Kolkata’s waitlists to move in order to get closer to admission possibilities for many years.
