In Hinduism, the festival of Dussehra is celebrated with great enthusiasm. On this day Lord Rama killed Ravana, the arrogant king of Lanka. Every year this festival is celebrated on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Ashwani month after Navratri.

  2. Place 10 cow dung cakes.
  3. Place fruits, sweets, roli, chawal, and jhuwar on a plate.
  4. Do the pooja of the cow dung with water, moli, chawal, roli, and jhuwar.
  5. Light the diya and incense stick and do the parikrama.
  6. Finally, at the end of the pooja, food and money are offered to the Brahmins.
  7. Then, family and friends unite together to relish meals.

Navratri  the nine days of celebration of each form of Goddess Durga  culminates with Dussehra, the tenth day. It is also called as Vijayadashami, the day of victory.
