About Assam Police Recruitment
The Assam Police Border Organization was established under the P.I.P. (Prevention of Infiltration of Pakistani) Scheme in 1962 by the Special Branch Organization of the Assam Police Recruitment, headed by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Special Branch. Assam Police Selection Process

Following are the eligibility criteria for the candidates applying in various posts under Assam Police.
- Applicants must be from Assam, India, to be eligible.
- This category’s lower age restriction is 18 years old.
- The lower age limit for the positions of Stenographer and Forester is 21 years old.
