Information AISSEE
Under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, the Ministry of Education of the Government of India established the National Testing Agency as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier examining organization for the purpose of conducting exams that are effective, transparent, and in accordance with international standards in order to assess candidates’ competence for admission to premier higher educational institutions.
The Sainik Schools Society is a separate organization that falls under the Ministry of Defence of the Indian government. Sainik Schools are run by the Society. Sainik Schools are residential schools that are taught in English and are part of the Central Board of Secondary Education. Cadets from Sainik Schools are prepared to attend the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla and other training institutes for officers.
