About Assam HS Results

The board of education for the state of Assam, known as the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or AHSEC, was established on June 1, 1984. It is the governing body for the state of Assam’s Higher Secondary (10+2) education. The Chairman of the Council is the Council’s chief executive and serves on a full-time basis. The State Government selects the Chairman for a three-year term that can be extended for an additional three years. The primary administrative officer of the Council, the Secretary is in charge of all general administration, establishment, legal, accounting, public relations, grievance resolution, affiliation, and property matters.

The Higher Secondary +2 level examination in Assam’s 12th grade, administered by the AHSEC, a private, non-governmental board of education.
