The movie’s opening gives you the impression that it will be an Indian original with a vibe similar to the Netflix series You. However, the film can’t take the drama to the next level once it gets into the cat-and-mouse game between the main characters; instead, it just stays in the same old survival thriller territory. SPOILER WARNING! We have no idea what these individuals are doing or where they are employed. The film’s main characters are Satya and Rakesh Oberoi, or RO, as Satya refers to him. Vishal, Satya’s boss, is engaged to her. However, RO never told her how much he loved her.

However, the film is ultimately a survival thriller, and the writing seemed to be having trouble layering things after a certain point.
In the beginning of the film, Rakul Preet Singh’s performance as Satya exudes a pleasant energy, and she convincingly conveys the emotional roller coaster the character experiences. Pavail Gulati, best known for his role in Thappad, gave the role her all-out conviction. I was kind of reminded of the performance by Dulquer Salmaan in Chup, perhaps because of his physicality. Gulati was able to convey the character’s toxicity without necessarily trying to be gimmicky or loud. That character was also unique because of the minimalism that he maintained in his body language.
