The good news is that Apple’s customers are so numerous that even a small segment of this population could still result in millions of sales. What’s more, in a vacuum, when it’s not eclipsed by other MacBooks with fresher plans and shinier tones, this M2 MacBook Ace is a great PC for efficiency and imaginative work.

MacBook Pro 13-inch (2022): Design & Hardware

Display

However, it cannot be denied that technically, it is behind not only a number of high-end Windows systems but also the displays in all of the most recent MacBook models. Keyboard and Trackpad
I don’t believe making a decent PC keyboard is hard. Even entry-level $400 laptops from small Chinese brands like Chuwi allow me to reach my maximum typing speed of 103 words per minute. The main time consoles are terrible is because of space imperatives on scaled down PCs or when an organization attempts to get charming with designing (like Apple’s butterfly console try). So I don’t have anything to gripe about with the console here. I can pound out words at my best speed because the keys are evenly spaced and there is enough travel between keys.
The trackpad is where I really want to wax poetic: Although I don’t claim to be an expert on Windows laptops, I have used a number of newer models from Huawei, Dell, and Samsung over the past few years. I find that Apple’s trackpad is more precise and less prone to accidental taps than those on Windows machines. This trackpad is just as good as the ones made by Apple.
The Touch Bar doesn’t bother me either. I know I’m in the minority here because the majority of my media peers applauded the return of the traditional Function key row in newer MacBook designs. However, I kind of like the contextual nature of the Touch Bar, which lets me quickly switch tabs in Safari or scroll through videos on YouTube (and even see a small preview of the website on the Touch Bar).

Ports
My main issue with the brand-new MacBook Pro is as follows: Only three ports exist: a headphone jack and two USB-C ports for Thunderbolt.
