BWF World Tour Finals 2023: The fifth season of the BWF World Tour of badminton included 20 tournaments leading up to the World Tour Finals, which were officially referred to as the HSBC BWF World Tour for sponsorship reasons. The Badminton World Federation World Tour Finals, officially known as the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals, is an annual badminton tournament that takes place in December of each year. It replaces the BWF Super Series Finals and features players competing for a prize pool of at least US$ 1,500,000. The Guangzhou Sports Bureau, Guangzhou Sports Competitions Centre, Guangzhou Badminton Administrative Centre, and Guangzhou Badminton Association were originally slated to organize the fifth Badminton World Federation World Tour Finals in 2022. With permission from the BWF, it would have been hosted by the Chinese Badminton Association and the Guangzhou Municipal Government.
